I have always enjoyed drawing and I‘ve always used my hands and my mind to create things that are akin to art – most often, as a second occupation (my academic background has not much to do with aesthetics in the proper sense). But computers becoming more and more mainstream changed everything. Instead of drawing with a pencil, I am drawing with a mouse, and instead of watercolours and oil paint, I am using virtual pigments.

I work endlessly. Sometimes, I fill my insomnia with the pleasure I get from vivid colours I manipulate while everything is dark outside.
I don't have complicated picture processing software and I don't want any. I want it to be me doing things, not the computer.
Since I wasn't taught, but “invented” computer graphics, I do everything my own way (MS Paint is my preferred tool) and am constantly experimenting : I play with volumes and lights, keeping forms in balance and colours in harmony. A good example is the series of portraits shown here, which are only studies (not intended to be sold).

I’m painting to pixels and bits and I invite you to take a look to my small portfolio (my artist website is not ready yet). I hope you'll appreciate the trip.
